There are some words you may have heard
That have to do with Green
But not the green of lollipops
That isn’t what I mean
By green I mean sustainable
And that’s one of the words
By that I mean maintainable
And good for plants and birds
Renewable is doable
It’s up to me and youable
It’s really not excuseable
To toss what is reusable
Recyclable is likable
In places that are hikeable
Cleanupable, pickupable
Let’s get things looking upable
We’re savable, behavable
Our power use is shaveable
We’re tellable, groundswellable
And solar voltaic cellable
Responsible, we’re capable
We’re get-ourselves-in-shapeable
We’re trainable, remixable
We’re teach-a-dog-new-tricksable
Researchable, explorable
Complacency’s deplorable
It’s possible, it’s fixable,
This isn’t just-for-kicksable
Reduce Recycle Reuse
Before our planet blows a fuse
