Little Bo Peep and all of her sheep
Eat food that is grown by their neighbors
It’s not from big stores or far away shores
Or hands of sweet children’s labors
If you see what I mean about food that is “green”
It’s so much better for our planet
It’s grown with a plan to do all that we can
To care for this Earth as we share it.
We all have to dare to buy, use and care
We have to think of our footprints
Those marks on the Earth that threaten its worth
To save our planet from changing
Little Bo Peep takes care of her sheep
In clothes that she buys from her neighbors
They’re not from big stores or far away shores
Or hands of sweet children’s labors
If you see what I mean about clothes that are “green”
They’re so much better for our planet
All made with a plan to do all that we can
To care for this Earth as we share it.
We all have to dare to buy, use and care
We have to think of our footprints
Those marks on the Earth that threaten its worth
To save our planet from changing
To keep the climate from changing
To save our planet from changing
