This little world of ours
Is spinning among the stars
Better take good care
It could wind up just like Mars
This little world of ours
Is spinning among the stars
Like it has, like it has for a billion years
We’re not the first ones here
To swim within our seas
Billions have come before
Stingrays and manatees
We are droplets in a river
That is universes old
We are passengers that ride upon this globe
We’re not the first ones here
To walk upon this land
Future generations
Will inherit where we stand
We all must be respectful
Of this world we pass along
So our children’s kids can grow up
Safe and strong
For millions of eons
Our globe has swirled and twhirled
We’re here for just a tiny blink
Of time upon this world
We are borrowing this planet for the days that we
are here
Then Pass it on pass it, and pass it on.
This little world of ours
Is spinning among the stars
Better take good care
It could wind up just like Mars
This little world of ours
Is spinning among the stars
Like it has, like it has for a billion years
This little world of ours
Is spinning among the stars
We’re here for just a tiny blink
Of time upon this world
We are borrowing this planet for the days that we
are here
Then Pass it on pass it, and pass it on.
Then Pass it on pass it, and pass it on.
Then Pass it on pass it, and pass it on.
